About Meridrop

Hi! I'm Kat, an illustrator based in San Francisco. Meridrop is my small-batch art and clothing brand. I love creating cheerful, colorful, illustration-forward clothing and accessories for creative people who want their everyday objects to feel more playful!

  

Meridrop is an art-first brand—I make all my designs in small batches of 50 to 200 pieces, so that I can focus on creating new art and designs rather than optimizing for bulk production. That also means that we don't overproduce and create waste, and that every design is limited edition! 

It often takes me 6-7 months to perfect one design, especially for my sweaters. If you buy a Meridrop product, you'll know that it's made with care throughout every step of the process—from sketching, to designing, to packing each order by hand.

How Meridrop products are made: 

Everything is personally designed by me in San Francisco (no AI art here)! I work with local partners or make products by hand whenever possible. For clothing items that I want to manufacture professionally, such as my sweaters, I work with a few small factories in China, who I selected based on the quality of their work and their standards for safety.
